Day Open
Introduction
Day Open is not a technical indicator. It represents the Price Open of the first bar of the current day. It can be put into the Open Slot, where defines the Open strategy order price. It doesn't contain any logic condition.
Calculation
Day Open is just the price open of the current day.
If you use daily time frame Day Open is Price Open of the bar.
If your time frame is lower than 1 day. Day Open will show Price Open of the first bar of the current day.
Parameters
Day Open doesn't require any parameters.
Usage
We can use the Day Open to define the point, where Open Strategy sends orders.
If you use open filters with base price different than Price Open, you have to mark their checkbox "Use previous bar value".
Day Open acts as an Open Filter and permits of Open Strategy to send orders at the first price of the day only.
